The Short Version: Your collection is private by default. Pursely stores your Vault securely in the cloud to enable cross-device syncing, but you maintain strict control over who can view your pieces via Closet Clubs and Whisper Links.

This Privacy Policy explains how 42DIGITAL ("we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use the Pursely mobile application (the "App"). We built this app to serve as your private digital atelier. Because we handle photos and valuations of luxury goods, protecting your data is our highest priority.

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with a seamless experience, we collect:

Account Data: If you choose to upgrade from a guest account, we collect your email address to secure your cloud sync.
Collection Data: Photos of your handbags, purchase prices, notes, wear logs, and Wishlist URLs you manually enter into the App.

2. How the AI Magic Camera Works

When you catalog a new bag or upload a Wishlist screenshot, the following occurs:

The image is sent to a specialized API to automatically remove the background and crop the item.
The cleaned image is securely uploaded to your private cloud storage bucket.
The image is temporarily processed by our AI partner (Google Gemini) to identify the brand, style, color, and estimate its retail value.
Privacy Guarantee: Our enterprise agreements strictly prohibit our AI partners from using your private collection photos to train their machine learning models.

3. Closet Clubs and Sharing

By default, your Vault is 100% private. Your bags will only be visible to other users if you explicitly join a "Closet Club" using a shared invite code. When you join a club, members can view the photos, brands, and notes of your bags. You can leave a club at any time to instantly revoke access. Similarly, when you generate a "Whisper Link" or Insurance PDF, you are actively choosing to export and share your data externally.

4. Device Permissions

The App requests the following device permissions to function:

Camera & Photo Library: Required to take photos of your pieces or upload screenshots for your Wishlist.
